Phoenix Park

Regular runners in the park - Anyone know if the plan to open the main road from the Aras to roundabout nr farmleigh again? Had run starting and ending on furze rd planned for this am and had to make one up instead...between that and dodge gps on my iPhone I think I might have been short....

Btw if you were the fella in the luminous yellow vest who shouted encouragement at me as you sped past on ordinance rd - thanks I needed it!!

They're not. The point of closing it is to make the park more usable with less traffic going through it. Why do you need it open to start/finish your run on the furze road?

No real reason - just habit from last year....I am training for my first marathon and it's enough to do my LSR without adding a run from papal cross car pk up to furze rd on to it too.....will just have to adapt runs to start / end at papal cross...

Park at the other end of Furze road. You can still get onto it via Ordinance Survey road. It's just the Chesterfield Ave end of it you can't use.
