Good to hear. Did you manage to read the rings by any chance?

Sorry V Moth, I shoot freehand, so my photo's are not sharp and they were taken at some distance away. Even with cropping to the max, the ring shots are not clear.

All I can tell you is that the ring I saw was blue and on the left leg, sorry about that, hopefully some one else will get better photos.

Whoah. Where is that place? I know there's a reptile zoo in Gowran but I've never been. Impressive shots man, all the same. You could start calling yourself The Lizard King now maybe.

Decided to take the camera out into the garden about an hour ago or so to make the most of the warm weather and I spotted a few of these hopping around the place? Any ideas? Too lazy to look them up..

Look like one of the Soldier Beetles (Cantharidae).

No worries. I don't think I have seen pics of a ringed Peregrine before. Would be interesting to know where it had been ringed (Ireland or abroad).

The blue ring on one leg means its from somewhere in Ireland, probably Leinster!

A few more Goldcrests today.

And this one mixed in amongst the Goldcrest pics.

And a Jay in an area of Boora where I've never seen any before. I had seen one in the same spot earlier in the day, but didn't place it until I spotted this one.

I give up on the Warblers! Was told the one below is a WW as well even though it looked about twice the size of the one above, and a green/yellow colour that doesn't come across in the photo.
