Wireless router and wireless modem question
Hey guys i only got broadband installed in my new house and i got a wireless modem from UPC. I already have a wireless gaming router which i would like to use so my question is in relation to linking the two together. Do i need to disable the wireless signal from the modem or will my connected gaming router just take over the signal?

you need to turn off the wireless, and make sure your gaming router acting as a repeater so there won't be a conflict in the DHCP server.
and i presumed you are going to use it for gaming so you may have a double NAT. make sure the main router in DMZ and put the gaming router ip address. |
