Rewatching it from the beginning and I have to say, its better than star trek in many ways.

Started Watching it again.
Huge Trek fan and I did watch a season or 2 of this back in the mid 90's.

Half way through season 3. It's very gripping and very rich in its storytelling. You cannot watch it one at a time, or pop in and out, you have to watch it quickly and back to back. It's not like Star Trek, as it has a continuous arcing plot. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Yeah overall it's good but the final season was completely unnecessary, the final episode of the 2nd last season wound things up nicely and was infinitely better than the actual final episode. ¬_¬
