For some reason I always like to see Hibs do well, now that's even more so....

I'd love to see Pat Fenlon become a success over there

Well considering we dont win much and seem to make life as diffcult, its hard to hate us

It was pointed out before, but Fenlon now has to pick up a team that suffered its worst defeat in its history(cup final).

Its going to take time, but we have to expect better standing then 2nd from bottom last season.

If get to top 6 I be happy and can work from there. Maybe get nice run in cup competition.

Great news this morning in that James McPake has signed 2 years Contract with the club.

By far our best performer when he came in last season so bit of good news for start of season.

Yes the permanent capture of James McPake is a huge signing!

Billy Brown being released by Hibs means Kyle is a no go!

Motherwell defender Tim Clancey (from Meath) and midfielder Paul Cairney from Partik Thistle also in the bag

The return of Dean Shiels would be a very good bit of business too if it comes off.

Hopefully the new contact for young left back Scott Smith will prove successful.

Still a long way to go. Really need a few more new players over the next 2 or 3 weeks.

I don't envy Pat his job!

Great to get Paul Cairney. He was Thistle POY last season.

Love to get Shiels back. Really thought he go on to do more. But glad to take him back.

Maybury is even older then that. He will be 34 by the time the new season gets underway.

Looking forward to the big kick off tomorrow.

4 points or better from these opening 2 fixtures would set some nice momentum for a couple of very winable games coming after them!

More signings needed tho - on top of the half dozen new players that will still need time to gel. A good start is vital!
