For anyone interested, BBC1 are showing the Graceland documentary tomorrow night (tuesday) at 10.35. I caught the end of it on saturday on tg4 and it looked very good!

Getting excited about this now - managed to pick up two good tickets at a reasonable price..
Really hope he does a good set of solo & S&G stuff after Graceland (which is one of my favourite albums)...

Looks like Dublin is the first show in this tour - is that right, or is it just the first in the European leg of the tour?

There will be a wide range of songs spanning Simon's career. So there should be a bit of everything.

I wonder will the Graceland band play the full gig or just the Graceland section?

Very excited: bought my ticket on Saturday. Very pricey, but it looks like a good seat.
I'm a huge fan of Paul Simon. Loved my parents' Bridge Over Troubled Water album when I was a teenager and developed an interest from there. Loved Graceland when I finally 'discovered' it a few years later.
Am I the only saddo going solo?

This should be class. Will it really kick off at 8pm? Seems kind of early but he'll probably play a fairly long set I'd imagine. Graceland in full and the best of the rest, can't really go wrong.

Apparently he is coming on at 8 give or take a few minutes and playing right through.
Not 100% confirmed but that's what I've heard so far.

Can't wait to hear people's reports of tonight - I'm going tomorrow & according to Twitter, tonight has been amazing so far

(though I'm not sure how much I can value the opinion of someone tweeting from a concert)

Really, really excellent gig, started off a little slow, but really took off and it was excellent. won't say anything about songs etc etc for people going tomorrow but it was extremely entertaining.

Came on stage at 8.10 or so and finished up at about 10.45 with plenty of different musician/singers change/

thoroughly enjoyable night.
