A pretty big ''meh'' for me, especially as we're apparently trying to trade CJ Watson now and won't be taking up his option for next year. Seems the main reason for getting Kirk is that he can play the 1 in Rose's absence and then play the 2 as back up to Rip. That said though he's a better defender than CJ.

I probably sound a bit spoilt and should look at the bigger picture especially with Rose's injury, but it's very underwhelming to see the leagues 3rd most valuable team making moves like this.

It's going to be a tough year next year. A very low playoff seed and a likely first round exit IMO.

Pissed about Anderson going to the Hornets. They better have a good plan in mind and not just be trading away our best prospects willy-nilly. Next season is going to be rough, I fear...

I think Heinrich is a decent enough pick up, Bulls know exactly what they will get out of him plus as said he can switch to the two and will be solid backup for Rose when he comes back. I know he is not exactly a marquee signing but I am a bit biased as I am a bit of a fan.

Hornets are looking decent, will be interesting to see how he will play without Howard.
What if any plan to Orlando have ?

I liked the look of Rob Hennigan when we brought him in as GM. So I have to believe he's got some idea of where he wants to go beyond just, "Get rid of everyone who gives us a chance. Start fresh."

Hennigan would seriously want to get a move on and offload Howard and start rebuilding quickly. Or if we are keeping Howard for another season Orlando still need to invest and invest strongly. Right now they are looking like a bit of a joke. It is like noone knows what to do next down there.

They didn't want to move Andersen. They had pictured him as the centerpiece moving forward. However he recently came out and declared he wouldn't be resigning with the Magic. They thought they might as well get some value back. I'm not sure what exactly they're getting back but its better then nothing.

Yea it is pretty common here in California, sure its probably popular in the East coast too. First time I was there was my first week in America and out of the blue all the staff came onto the floor and started singing and dancing when some song came on, it was the weirdest and funniest thing ever

Howard to Brooklyn got a lot more real today apparently. Lots of leaks about it being a 4 teams trade with lots of players moving teams.

This is making me nervous. The East will be a bloodbath if he joins up with Deron Williams and Joe Johnson there.
