Physiology and Sports Injuries Management

Anyone that is interested in a sport related PLC, This course is in Carlow IFE, its next door to the IT, and i have actually completed the course. I personally think this course is great, its very interesting and the teachers are very helpful and sound, the course consists of 8 Fetac modules and 3 ITEC modules, 2 are optional. The ITEC Anatomy and Physiology theory however is very tough and i wouldn't take it lightly, you need to get at least 50% in the theory exam or you fail the ITEC. The main reason this course is great is because it is linked with the Level 6 Physiology and Health Science Course in Carlow IT and you can go on to do physiotherapy in the UK from that. The best 6 results/candidates get into that course.

The Fetac modules are:

* Anatomy and Physiology
* Exercise and Fitness
* Kinesiology
* Legal Studies
* Nutrition
* Occupational First Aid
* Work Experience
* Communications

The ITEC modules are:
* Anatomy, Physiology & Massage Therapy
* Sports Injury Massage (Optional)
* Sports Injury Equipment (Optional)
