One (possible) issue with the Pitchblack is that there is only one out on it so you can't use it always on or as a splitter but the big bright and clear display is the clincher for me and it's accurate +/- 1 Cent compared to say the TU2 which is +/- 3 cent and the TU which +/-1 cent, it's also True Bypass if that sorta thing floats your boat.

CMATMODS Signa Drive overdrive pedal was only €100 or so. Most natural sounding dirt box yet.

Are you using the LED clipping side (it'll be the louder side of the switch)? I'm pretty much swearing by LED clipping for more natural sounding Muffs and Rats. Must put together a TS with LEDs for myself soon.

Line 6 Variax 700 - for the sheer variety of great guitar models (and when you tweak them in workbench they can be spectacular). Also has one of the best necks i've ever played

Yep, pretty cheap. I bought one early last year when the $$$ was down on it's knees. €115 including shipping is still a great price. I have my eye on the Deluxe version for around €160, with a full eq and boost footswitch button.

And Zafo, i am using the middle toggle setting which is louder. I think the toggle down, is tubescreamer type.

Same. Got one in the music maker sale reduced from something like €1,400 to €200. It's not a pretty guitar but the neck is great and the modelled sounds are, for the most part, really good. I havent got around to getting the workbench for it yet though.

It's all Tubescreamer based but if it's the louder setting I'd say it's the LED clipping. Surprised it's taken so long for builders to cop on to what Marshall did with the Guv'nor a long time ago..

€450 on a CIJ Jazzmaster

€200 Crafter 12 string

€200 Valencia nylon

not much (can't remember) on a boss blues driver

not much (can't remember) on a zoom ultra fuzz

£200 old pounds on a cheapo crafter acoustic to lug around Europe which got me more women than I care to remember. I owe it nothing!

Bought an 80's Tokai superstrat off my uncle years ago for half nothing.
Ibanez RG450 I think, cheap guitar but I still prefer it to my Jem. Plays beautifully.

My EQ pedal. The single most important thing after your guitar and amp. I stick it in my fx loop, and use the guitar volume/tone knobs for distortion. If you dont have a eq pedal already then do your self a favour and get one immediatly.
