There hasnt been a midweek meet in a long time in Dublin, certainly no harm to organise one.

I suggest we start a local mid week Dublin meet at a reasonable hour so commuters from the Smoke don't have to wait too long after work and won't be home too late either.

I'd also suggest one down in Cork and even the East / West coasts if anybody is game.

Busy time of year for everyone?

Portlaoise has always worked well as it's central and pretty fair for everyone to get to, too much in having a meet once a month?

Go...
I stopped going because of this guy who kept showing up asking me if he could drive my car... I kept evading him but it just got to a point where I just dont want to show up anymore...

so if you get rid of him I will pop over next time lol

No seriously, I think it they are grand, maybe once a month is too much but I wouldnt say that will put me off going, the only reason I stopped going was because I am busy with wedding stuff and changing jobs otherwise I would have.

Maybe organize some sort of activity or something, like karting, or whatever, it doesnt really have to be motor related, even pidgeon shooting, whatever...

Has anything been planned with regard to the next meet or is it too early to be asking this?

Portlaoise meet will be taking a break for a while, Regional meets seem to be a runner for now.I'll be looking into something for us Munster heads hopefully.

Regional meets sound good.
Cork would be perfect
But could make it up to limerick too.

I have to say I agree with prev suggestion about having a "Family" type event where OH / Kids could be brought along.

Oooh regional meets... I likes the sound of that!

Maybe an all counties meet once or twice a year?
