C-Max service items?

For any Ford experts out there, I will be servicing the OH's 2008 C-Max shortly, aside from oil, filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, brakes as necessary etc, are there any other items I should be looking at - maybe breather filters etc? It's a 1.6 TDCi coming up on 30,000 km. Many thanks for any pointers.

Brakes should be fine but you will need a brake fluid change, also the wipers might be shot.

It will need a brake fluid change and a pollen filter change, both due every two years.

How often do you service it? I'd be doing oil changes more often on that car as the mileage is no-where near enough to justify the diesel engine.

Agree with Nissan Doc re the old changes, and especially so with that particular engine. Get the genuine oil (and sump washer ) from Ford as it meets a particular low-ash specification, and its cost is still fairly reasonable anyway. On my wife's CMax, I religiously change the oil every 6 months / 9000 miles, whichever comes first.

The fuel filter is due every 20k miles and unless you have a hand primer or suction pump, I'd avoid unless you want an ordeal to get it restarted.

The pollen filter is a pig of job. Try get a small ratchet with either a 6 or 7mm socket. Fuse box needs to be partially disconnected (to give ample room to withdraw and insert the PF,) and in doing so, make sure you have the radio code handy.
