The RAB and part of the road at the R347 has been under construction for quite some time. The section from the M6 junction over to the R348 is done and open.

If that's where I think it is, nearby bits have been straightened recently (e.g. since Tele Atlas did the mapping) and this has fenced off land for at least some of it.

However, the N16 has had so many short schemes done it might be another bit entirely I'm thinking of!

P Clarkes are lowest bidders for this project and it seems Cavan Co Co will award them the contract. Crazy giving a €5m+ contract to a company who went bust a couple of years ago and left huge bills behind them. I can see this project becoming a complete mess.
