Nope, nothing, but I found it interesting how Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, said last year that Michael narrowly missed going to the Twin Towers for a scheduled meeting on the morning of the attacks.

Jermaine stunned the audience and MJ fans when he revealed that his brother slept through a number of early morning appointments, including one that would have put him in the wrong place at the wrong time on the morning of the tragic terrorist attacks 10 years ago.

I met a fella from New York about two years ago and he told me that his sister worked in a bank in the World Trade Center but, luckily, she survived (albeit, with respiratory problems from inhaling toxic dust - funnily enough, somewhat similar to the problems Donna Summer suffered, and died, from this week).

He said his sister happened to leave her workplace - in the WTC - to go to a nearby bookshop and this was around the time the building was hit. If she hadn't made the decision to go out at that time, she would certainly be dead.

No, I didnt pick up on that....but..

I had a weird dream where there was this long funeral procession, rather like JK Kennedys...there was a large stretch limousine type funeral car. There were loads of people surrounding the car and along the streets, especially black-african-americans.

I was trying to get a look into the funeral car to see who in was, but the body was covered in a white sheet.

Michael Jackson died the following day. I'd never had that type of dream before, nor since. Coincidence? probably, but it spooked me for a good while.

Yes that's probably true and part of the publicity to promote whatever.

But I'd also guess that thousands upon thousands of people could legitamately quote some sort of near miss reference to the Twin Towers, eg, tourists who passed by it in the run up to 9/11, business people from all over the world who had visited in that year, etc etc.

Whether or not u use it as a publicity thing is determined by opportunity and necessity.

He prb did narrowly miss a business meeting there, but as Jack Dee would say

I remember listening to the radio august 2001. The White Witch from Cobh was on and she said that all the witches of Ireland had arranged to meet each other to discuss a major event that was going to happen, she was on about a triangle of chaos or something and how this was going to be a world changing event . When 911 happened i thought there would be a big thing about how she and other witches had had an inclination that something was about to happen but it all went very quiet .When the radio host was asked later he denied she predicted it even though i heard it with my own ears.Also there was a Mac Donalds add that had a meteor crashing into new york , it was running when 911 happened and was pulled off the air straight away, kinda creepy.

I'm sure it did. It's like when you stand by a famine monument and comprehend in reality of what happened. And for you, what could have happened but for another place another time.

My great grand father was 10 years old in the darkest year of the famine.

People have been predicting an attack in New York for years. Its been in lots of movies. The WTC constantly had threats against time. I wouldnt call them premonitions more a good bet.

But isn't it in very bad taste to make up a story about your dead brother having a connection with a well-known atrocity? I don't know about anyone else, but I can't see how a story like that would make more people want to go out and buy a not-particularly-interesting celebrity's (sorry, Jermaine, but you seem like a boring man) book.

I know I wouldn't feel compelled to buy someone's book just because I read some story about their famous dead sibling online but, then, I'm not easily swayed or manipulated to start with.

Yeah, she was on 96fm around July/August 2001 telling Neil Prendeville that she could see a large "steel fountain pen" hitting a building in New York, and a cloud of darkness over the city. The radio host would have been Prendeville, wouldn't it? As her friend, I thought he would have been quick to endorse her abilities?

The Cork Independent haven't shied away from admitting she predicted the Cork floods about a month before it all happened in 2009. She said something about how there would be flooding at the point "where Cork and Ballincollig meet." Well, the release of too much water at the dam in Inniscara (near Ballincollig) turned out to be largely responsible for the subsequent flooding of the city and nearby suburbs.

She also said something back then about a meteor hitting Cork this year (I think). We'll see.

there was also the rap group CREW who had their CD that was about to come out that had the towers with smoke coming out of them. Pretty much identical to what happened. Not paranormal in anyway. Just predictions , it goes on every day in Paddy Power.

It's very easy to tie events into predictions after the event has happened. Look at all the Nostradamus stuff, you can basically fit & adapt his words & metaphors into events after whatever event...but try & explain any of his ones that havn't happened yet.
