Liquid Cooling Xbox 360 Phat

I have a 1st gen xbox 360 and I was wondering if it was possible to attach a water cooling unit such as this: http://www.dabs.ie/products/corsair-memory-cooling-hydro-series-h100-high-performance-cpu-cooler-7JSN.html?refs=4294946277&src=3

I'd probably need two? One for the CPU and one for the GPU?

I've already attached extra fans to the top of the case and added a talisman whisper fan to it, but i'd rather cut down the noise completely.

Anyone have similar experiences with this?

Not worth the hassle IMO
If you want to cut down on noise buy yourself a slim or run your games from the hdd.
It works out cheaper to buy a slim

If your trying to prevent rrod with water cooling which is the more likely reason, your going to be met with varying degrees of success based on the condition of the solder balls under the gpu.
Putting it bluntly of the solder balls are in good condition this will put off rrod or maybe stop it completely but if there in bad condition your wasting your time

Thanks for the reply. I already have a slim, i just have this as my flashed xbox. Was just wondering if it was possible.

If i was to do this, i'd need two of the units i've linked above. right?

I havnt looked into water cooling myself but as far as I know you will need specialised waterblocks for the CPU and gpu.
And yes two of them will be needed as far as I know, one for each chip that needs cooling.

Your going to have to spend a while researching this .

Xbox 360 watercooling block for both the CPU and GPU

I couldn't tell you if they ship to Ireland but at least you now know what water block you need.
And its pretty reasonably priced as far as waterblocks go.

All you need after that is your basic water cooling kit,
Radiator, pump, piping, and cooling liquid
