Whats with the inverted comma's "sport" comments? It involves two teams who compete against each other, there are clear rules for scoring points (a point for each member of the opposite team that the jammer passes), a referee, a winner and a loser...and requires a degree of fitness and skill. What makes it any less of a sport? The costumes and silly names? Only a small number of our club are lesbians too, most of us are mothers...

Good start on the names but a lot of them are already taken... keep up the good work

I've seen them on the tube a few times, seems to be an excuse to dress up and express how zany you are, this explains it quite well

There used to be a girl on here who played Roller Derby in Dublin, she was as sound as a pound and was quite the looker too! Not sure if she still does it tho!
