Just a quick question to give a friend a dig out??

Hi All,

(Mods move this if its not in the right place)

My friend currently receives social welfare as he cannot live at home due to problems with the family and whatnot.

He now lives in a house with 3 other guys and does not get rent allowance, so out of his 100 euro a week he is putting 8 euros towards ESB and 35 euro to rent.

Anyways to cut a long story short, he was out Monday night for the United match, I dont know what happened but he ended up giving a girl with no shoes a piggyback, he tripped, she came down on his face and now his two front teeth are broke to bits. Apparently a root canal is needed and this lad can just about afford to feed himself weekly after rent and electricity costs.

Does he have anything to go by that maybe he can get some sort of help from the Social to get his teeth fixed in such a way that they wont rot out of his head?

No fancy job, just something that will get his face looking normal again and possibly preserve whatever tooth he has left so that when he gets lucky with work in the future that he can pay to repair them.

All help is appreciated, this guy is very worried about this now and has no where to turn as he basically is living week to week off this €100 per week. His priority his too keep himself fed and a roof over his head, but I told him I would ask the community to see if there is any avenue to help him out.

Cheers,
Gary
