If it's not too late - you should contact the national monuments service archive (details on archaeology.ie) where they have the hard copy files of all archaeological sites which contain descriptive info on the sites.

The ex- head greenkeeper is still keeping grass cut etc... It's a million miles away from being a golf course, but it's not growing wild or anything.

Awful shame, as it was a fantastic amenity - the finest closing 3 holes for many a mile!

Ha it's a bit late now, my apologies for not replying, those that helped me thank you I managed to get a B, prob could have been better but didn't get up to get the pics. Thanks again everyone, I intend to do a lot more research into Kilkea when I get the time.
