Hugs to rebel girl 15 and Sar Bear, hope you're doing OK girls.

Having the most scrumptious dinner now. My mouth is watering just looking at it.

Not entirely sure if I had a date-esque thing or not today.... the boy from work, who I've been friends with for a while but not seen very much, spent the day flirting with me and me flirting back, then asked me if I wanted to go for a drink with him after work.. so we went, and had the chats, and he walked me back out to college, before walking back into town for his other job....

There was flirting, and there was a hug. But I don't know.... *confusion*

Ok so actually having the ring has changed everything - including our plans!
He's asking my dad tomorrow and then it'll all happen
So excited, happy and nervous! Hope my dad flies through his round of golf tomorrow!!

I have far, far too much to do in too short a time period. Here comes The Fear! Thinking of going to bed soon and getting up early instead of continuing to study for too long now, my brain is getting mushy.

On the plus side, my sister is staying at her friend's tonight so I get the room to myself! I always go to bed earlier than she does and every single night she thunders into the room and stomps around for ages before going to bed herself so I'm hoping that tonight I can get a rare night of uninterrupted sleep

So last night, while slightly inebriated, I thought it would be a good idea to jump from a bench to try and touch the moon, but fell wrong and now my foot is sore and slightly swollen. It was a good effort though.

Even before I'd turned into a wedding Grinch, I never got this sort of mindset!

Surely it's between you and him, not him and your dad?

And it's a joint decision like, what's the big deal in him "asking" you? I mean, the decision is made, you've clearly discussed it between ye, and both want to get married ... so why the big song and dance about where and when he asks?! It's not like he's asking ... more, just, confirming?

I'm not trying to throw a downer on it, I just honestly don't understand this!

Maybe I am just a wedding Grinch. Sorry!

i don't get it either but sure at a time like this if it makes them happy off they go, best of luck to them! we're all different!
i suppose him "asking" her gives them a "moment" to look back on

tomorrow i am going to transpose my song, do my german homework, sing, cello, and dye my hair again...

He should've picked a song he wouldn't cry through, ugh, stupid over emotional crap, I miss normal tv before they wanted everyone to cry.

last week i got so drunk i had to be taken home at 12...woke up at 3 in the morning in my wardrobe convinced it was my bed
so i got up and went to bed...i somehow managed to destroy my laundry basket and cut myself open
i still have a 4 inch cut on my left arm, a 2 inch cut on my right shoulder, a tiny cut on my boob, a bruised ass and bruised legs...they still havent gone away!
