I have a Revolution Courier Race since 2009 but want to do a bit more cycling for fitness, and it doesn't really fit the bill any more. I could convert it to drops for €150, but I still reckon the reach would be too long for me. So I'm in the market for a secondhand road bike worth €150 more than mine, basically.

I paid stg£280 (+postage, but we'll ignore that) for my bike - say €340. It's 3+ years old now, has had VERY light use (definitely <500km), so would it be worth half what I paid for it? €170? €150? Who knows. The only way to find out is to put it up for sale, and I'm reluctant to do that without knowing where its replacement is coming from.

So - is there anyone out there with a decent older bike that's been replaced in their affections that would either like to take mine as a swap + cash, or to shake hands on a deal and then wait till I sell mine to fund it?

Sorry - I forgot to say it's roughly a 54cm frame I'd need (I'm 5'8")
