Several on here and a few pounds is maximum that you can expect.
Thanks, had a look at the prices. Had the manager from the Bank of Monaco on hold until I got an evaluation

Hi,

I have a 2011 €20 Celtic Cross Gold proof Coin and a 2008 €5 Silver Proof Antarctic Explorer Coin that I was wondering what value they would be now. The Celtic cross is still in demand I believ and there was only 5000 of the explorers so I am curious to know their value.

Any info would be appreciated thank you.

I don't see anything of value in your UK coins. There's little or no value in worn pennies.

Depends the type, proof or normal circulation issue, condition and which display box. Best you look up ebay and find similar ones and get your prices that way if you can't post photos.

Thanks for the reply. I just saw on adverts a celtic cross selling for €135 and also people looking for about 1,500 for the antarctic double set. I know the gold coin is the main part but I thought the €5 would be more even though it is on its own.

What people are asking for on Adverts and what they get are two different things. But if you can get 135 Euro for your celtic cross gold coin, I'd sell it there quickly if I was you. Realistically the valuation for the Antarctic double set is closer to 800-900 Euro. I was a moderator on Adverts but I'm not afraid to say that there's some right chancers on there and enough fools who are easily parted with their money and I certainly wouldn't base my valuations from that site.

In light of what you're saying, why don't you put them up on Adverts and ask for 140 and 100 Euro respectively and let them haggle you down to what you're willing to accept.

the 1964 half dollar would be worth around €8-10
the 25 ore would really depend on the condition and without seeing could be anywhere from €3-€15

the english coins are worth very little, mabye €5 for the lot

Hi I am just wondering does anyone know the value of the old irish coin books
Irish Numismatics. My dad has around 18 different issues of these.
Is it best to sell them on ebay one at a time or all togeather.

Personally I'd sell them as one lot. Sure, you might get more selling them individually but it's a hell of a lot more time consuming and not worth it for the money you're talking about. The likes of these sell for around 2 to 4 euro each. In fact the easiest thing might be to bring them to any coin dealer and try and get as much as possible for them, try to aim for 2 to 3 Euro each.

HI all, Just wanted to ask some advice off posters.

Basically, I was given some vintage Irish notes as a gift for my 21st some years and wondered were they worth anything? I have about 15 - 20 different notes dated from the 50s & 60s made up of varying amounts of 10 Pound / 5 Pound / 1 Pound / 10 Shilling & 3 English £5 Notes (which are not dated).

Heading to the Euros which is costing a bomb so wondered if someone might firstly have some guess on how much they might be worth and secondly, have some advice on the best way to go about selling them. Cheers in advance.
