currently doing Fetac Level 5 Hairdressing want to level 6 and senior trade course

Hi

I am currently doing a Fetac Level 5 and Junior Trade course in hairdressing.
I did all modules expect I didn't get to finish communications and work experience. In 2007 I got a merit in Communication in a Fetac Level 5 Business Secretarial Course. I couldn't finish it due to personal problems at home and I was under a lot of stress. I like to repeat to get a full award. As I am in receipt of BTEA I would not get it to repeat it again. I want to go on a do the next course and get my senior trade. Theres are one is crumlin college, sheelans templemore and carlow. Would I get accepted to a level 6 and what fetac cert will i get?
I was thinking of paying for private Fetac level 5
College of Hairdressing Connaught - 4000 euros http://www.hairdressing.ie/course_detail.php?ID=74 OR

Clifden Hedz Academy
http://www.clifdenhedzacademy.com/21...-beg-nov-2011/

OR could i do short courses coloring and cutting.
I will want to advance in hardressing bleaching, cutting, colouring, perming, highlights

any information please

As both are level 5 the Junior trade on its own allows you to apply. I would apply early as it is filling fast.

Drogheda Institute of Further Ed, also offer Year 2 hairdressing where they do Senior Trade only.
You could try asking them as you have the Junior Trade. Drop them an email or speak to coordinator.
