I would like to dedicate this win to Gerry, who passed away one year ago, after a short, severe illness.

A lifelong Pool supporter, who was always kind of suspicious of Andy Carroll. One day, I told Gerry, that Andy Carroll will one day score some important goals. His answer was: I'll long be dead by then.

Sure did for change. Have not won the cup since 1902 and it will be our 11th attempt at winning a final.
