Flop? He took a serious rattle from the 1st or 2nd hurdle and never travelled after that and has been injured since.
Real shame, looked a real top class hurdler.

I read a few weeks ago Colonel that Apollo died. Shame.
I swear I could train horses better than this fella. Alandi is entered in a race at Goodwood tomorrow after racing in Oz. Old trainer had him running over stupid trips, including twice at six furlongs. This is the same horse who won the Cadran on Sea the Stars' Arc day,and an Irish Leger. Ya always struck me as a sprinter |

Good to see a small trainer like Patrick Prendergast getting decent horses all the same, he might be a bit of value at 20/1 tomorrow if he has retained any of his ability.
A lot of Aussie trainers run their horses over madly inadequate trips in prep runs for the Melbourne cup so there cannot be too much read into it. |
