Seller was dealing with buyer then just went with the last offer. The ad isn't even 24 hours old.
Thanks.

Looks like a rule breach alright and I'll deal with the seller now. I see he has received feedback there as well and didn't deny it.

Hi,
My intention was not to break the rules here (the seller accepted my offer). I read it as Robertr offered asking if pictures were posted, if it was in clean condition, if it was willing to be posted etc. Seller says its in his old house and that it's in good condition. Robert then says he'd need to see pictures before buying. Then seller tries to confirm that Robert would be ok to pay postage. Robert says that's fine but again : only when he sees pictures. He doesn't definitively say he is buying it. It's if if if. At this point Nikon, jetblack and myself offered asking. Nikon again talking about posting, jetblack didn't specify and I specified that I would collect from the seller. So the seller logs back in to see three offers. He went for the most uncomplicated one. Ie. the one where the buyer collects. I think this is fair. But if the mods don't think so, I will adhere to whatever they decide. Regards Quad |

I agreed to buy the item and was first to offer the asking price. I asked to see photographs of the watch and the seller agreed to post some.
He then decided that no photographs were possible and threw the item up for sale again. One minute later it was sold. He should have pmed me and said he couldn't supply pics and then a decision could be made as to whether to buy or not. I'm pissed off about it. He claimed that he was new here and didn't know the rules but his response to my feedback would suggest he didn't particularly care. |
