Ive done a treble of Cork, Kilkenny and Limerick.

Agree with Kev about KK, limerick were impressive in the waterford crystal cup against clare and really should have won the replay comfortably but for some very wayward shooting. It will all hinge though on whether hannon plays or not he will be a big loss if he doesnt play.

My main reason for picking cork is simply because waterford have a lot of injury problems.

Going with a 5 team accumulator myself, all hurling
Carlow 2/7
Carlow are a good side and its a nice travel down for Derry.

Clare (-1) 15/8
I think Clare are great value here, Davy will want to get them promoted and they have been doing alot of training so far

Cork 2/5
You would have to fancy Cork at home under new management and Waterford are missing a few (Mullane,Connors,Shane Walsh)

Kilkenny (-1) 10/11
The Kilkenny lads were flying last week with Leinster and they also looked good when beating Galway in Walsh Cup

Offaly (-2) 8/15
Although they will be missing there Coolderry contingent,I still see Offaly having too much for a good Laois side.

Have a tenner on it and it works out a bit better than 14/1 with PP

I might have a little double on Antrim (+4) 11/10 and Dublin 6/4 (Galway missing Joe Canning) aswel!

This match Saturday night will probably decide the relegation spot from Division 1A
Cancel that, no value at all in Waterford. Game is a no bet for me

Great piece of tipping above. All the above teams won and won with a nice bit in hand apart from the Dubs. Hopefully get lot more action on this thread as was pretty good last year but has quietened down a lot recently.

Keep up the good tipping !!!!!!

is it too early in the season for young shine to play? if he plays shurley they should wipe the floor with longford Roscommon football is on the up,promotion would be a target this year id say.

Do you mean Donie or Cathal? Donie has been playing all along but is a slight injury doubt.

More concerning would be whether the Brigids players (the Kilbrides, Mannion, Domicon) line out or are used as impact subs. They're also missing Donal Ward and Niall Carty, which - assuming no Domican - leaves them without three of their best backs to deal with the Bardens and Cavenagh.

Longford have had a good start, are strong at home as well. Wouldn't be anywhere near falling all over myself to back Roscommon.

Thought 6/5 about Kildare early in the week with Boyles was massive, took on plenty of that.

The two Reillys and Joe Sheridan struggling to make it for Meath, while Kildare will probably be much closer to a Championship looking team than they were in the first two games.

Round 2 of the hurling league and the first prices are up on PP. I think in 2 matches they might have over reacted to the first round results, its still early in the season and teams havent become bad (or brilliant) after just one match.

Dublin 7/4 v Cork. Dublin at home, shocker against Galway first time out and will be looking for an improvement. 7/4 might be a bit too big here.
Wexford 6/4 v Offaly. Wexford at home, again looking for a big improvment on a shocker first time out. Offaly missing the Coolderry contingent.

On the flipside, Galway @ 9/4 v Tipp, they are away but a good showing the first time out v Dublin even without the saviour JC

Another one to perhaps have a small bet on is Kerry @ 2/1 v Carlow. Kerry with home advantage and only lost by a couple away to Westmeath first time out.

Also no easy free money on KK this time out, only available @ 1/6 v Waterford.

Gonna try and get some team news first before deciding on bets.

Matches are alot closer to call this week but I have gone for a small accumulator to keep me interested.

Cork(-2) 10/11
I fancy Cork to build on their good win against Waterford with another win away to Dublin. It wont be easy for them but i can see them winning by 4-5 points.

Galway(+3) 5/6
Tipp were very poor last time out against Kilkenny and while I expext them to improve I can see Galway maybe snatching the win. Its a close one to call and I wouldnt be surprised for Tipp win but not by much, hence why I went with Galway(+3)

Kilkenny(-6) 10/11
Kilkenny looked very sharp against Tipp while Waterford were poor against Cork. Theres rumours of tension in the Waterford camp with Adrian Power supposedly leaving the panel, and along with the other names Waterford are missing (Mullane,Richie Foley,Noel Connors) I see Kilkenny being far too strong for Waterford.
If Kilkenny but out a similar team to the one that faced Tipp then I will also have a big bet on this. Banker!

Wexford(+4) 1/2
After losing to Antrim last time out, Liam Dunne will be gunning for a victory here if they have any chance of gaining promotion. But Offaly are a good side and I reckon they will win but by no more than 4 points. A Wexford win wouldnt surprise me at all tho.

Clare(-5) 8/15
The bookies were giving away money with the odds they had for Clares match against Limerick. They are playing it alot safer this time but Clare should have too much for the handicap against a confident Antrim side who had a good win against Wexford.

Limerick(-5) 5/6
After Limericks heavey deafet to Clare,I expect them to come out all guns blazing and have to much for Laois. John Allen needs to ensure victory here if Limerick are to have any chane of promotion.

Only have €5 on it at roughly 27/1 with PP

Going to have €5 on Tipp Galway game to finish as a draw @ 10/1

Fourfold accumulator on Cork, Tipp, Kilkenny and Clare with Boyles, at just under 2/1.

5 outta 6, unlucky. And the Tipp Galway game seemed to be have draw written all over it most of the way through.

Used my €40 free bet with Boyles for this one, won about €76. Delighted, but was fairly nerve-wracking. At one point towards the end of the Dubs game there was only a point in it in all four games.
