Can anyone tell me what is the Boards.ie equivalent in Queensland or Australia? I have googled but no joy.

Alexa rates sites by popularity.
Then check for Oz.
Browse http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries/AU for interesting sites.

Tried that - not a lot of luck - seems to be nothing as easy as boards. If you have a specific website??

I don't but you can have a look around Aussie Rules and Aussie travel forums to see if you can find any mentions there of forums.

A few mentions on this pages btw.

Also look for forums or message boards on sites in the Alexa list.

For example, in NZ the closest is the message boards on trademe.co.nz (which don't hold a candle on boards.ie, btw)
