How bad do things need to get before you can question what Wenger is doing?

then i gave 2 examples as suggestions!!

at no stage did i suggest I thought we were close to getting relegated.......but hey lets not actually answer my post.
I honestly think your squad is so so poor. Tomas Rosicky? WTF!!

It's one of these things though. Wenger is an absolute legend! So when does the criticism start? I think it should start now.

What are his ambitions should be a leading question. I realise there's a stadium to be paid for and that's a brilliant thing in the long run. But is Wenger simply not spending or is there a limited budget??

Jesus fupping Christ!!

Thats the question Im asking you!!

When is criticism ok?

btw....I never suggested we are close to relegation. But misrepresent what I said to avoid the queston if you like

i just posed a hypothetical question.

I always wonder about this. Contrasting opinions but the club and wenger seem to say money is there to be spent...so you sort of have to take that as being the truth and work from there.

Wenger has a passion for running the club well financially, and thats commendable.

But some of his transfer activity is bizarre. Players seem to give him a chance to show some ambition every summer and bring in some bigger names but he never does it.

Last summer took the biscuit waiting all summer, selling our 2 best players right at the end and panic buying on the last day of the window. That made the club look terrible.

Fab was leaving all along, sign a decent replacement early, let Fab go and look as if you have a plan for the future. What he did made it plain there is no plan!!

He should leave the finances to the club accountants and concentrate on whats happening on the pitch instead

Didn't get to see the second half but I assume more of the same. Typical performance from us; dominate in possession/shots/shots on target and come away with nothing.

Sunderland away isn't an easy game and I did think we'd be doing well to get a result so I'm not entirely surprised.

Need a little bit of time to gather my thoughts on this, I'm swaying toward defending the team and moreso the manager but I need to be clear why first.

Anyway, all the best to Sunderland hope they go far in this now. And hope they sort out that pitch sometime too!

Well if you're told by the accountants you have €x to spend or must sell enough for €x to pay for new players then your hands are tied.

I feel it a little simplistic to lay all the blame for transfers and contracts at Arsene's door, there's a lot more going on there I feel.

However the morose style of football we've played the last couple of years, the defensive frailties can indeed be pinned on him - that's his job.
