Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone knows if any ex-daihatsu dealerships are still able to get oem parts. I know daihatsu have pulled out of ireland but still quite a few daihatsus on the road so someone must be shipping parts in.
Tried motorfactors and the like but they said i need to go to a dealership.

What sort of parts do you need?

waterpump pulley(just the little pulley that sits on the waterpump). Mine's kinda deformed. Moorfactors told me they couldn't get anything like that.

Toyota dealer may be able to help if it's a Sirion 1.0

No it's a Daihatsu mira. Don't think any other manufactures share parts for it.

Is it a 660cc job?

yeah its the 660cc job. Its the 4 cyl not the 3 cylinder which makes it even harder to get parts for. its a 98

That's the same engine as in the Copen so?

yeah kind of, few changes made for the copen. Think the waterpump is slightly different aswell. The problem is most of the waterpumps dont come with the wee pulley so you have to get it from the manufacture.
