MGS HD Question

So Guys,

I'm after pre-ordering MGS HD - and one thing that I was wandering about, is the AP Scanning in Peace Walker, will that still work on the Xbox? And if so, what about the changing the date to get it more then once, because I've it cleared (Near about 100%) on the PSP - and I know the pain of getting A/B/S-Ranks before late in the game in Ex-Ops, when they can come in handy for earlier (Near the end when facing PW).

Anyone already played it that might have some info on if its still availible and how it works or?

Cheers Guys!

It's a good question, considering you won't be bringing your XBox to McDonalds, but if you remember correctly HotSpots "reset" after 24 to 48 hours for the PSP version so you could use them again and again if you had a lack of hot spots.

To answer your question, I've played PS3 NTSC version on a PAL machine, and there is no actual AP system on it that I'm aware of. The only thing you can do is use the "Transfaring" system (this allows you to send your PS3 save data to a PSP and continue portable, thus using the AP system if you have the original PSP version of the game to play with) and when you return to your PS3 you'll have more recruits.

You can also recruit via the Internet and I think they've been trying to have a kind of recruiting drive via the PSN Network in the US

Peace Walker is the most disappointing of this bundle, in the sense that it's simply a port, and is not remastered or really retouched at all. On a console you start to see why the game looked so good on portable.

Aye, I had a pretty savage set up on the PSP, but I sold the game and the PSP. (Kept the MS alright, but I'm getting this on the xbox, as its what I play more :/)

So there is no way of doing the scan what-so-ever? Bit of a pain! (I remember staying in a hotel in cork for my sisters grads, and walking around it all night getting all the wifi spots, then reseting the timer and doing it again! )

Oh well.. Guess that means.. Its gonna be a lot of hard work! :'(
