If they mixed 2d elements with 3ds elements nicely i cant argue , better that than running in a straight line in a scripted level design |

Sonic does need a new direction, because the one they've taken is all wrong. It's all about pointless speed, deathfalls & zomm-out levels when your going-fast which is rubbish. Generations is very polished, & admittedly it is nice to see the likes of Chemical Plant Zone revisited in HD, yet retaining the same feeling it had to it years ago. The 3d levels are back to rubbish speed fests though. But they're getting there. The jump & movement physics are still off though, even in the classic levels |

Absolutly agreed with every point , sometimes with the 3d aspect cheap deaths often do happen and with 3d games become more of a time trial than a platformer for what it was orinigally suppose to be , i think though its easier for me to look past all the same flaws it has over the years cause of the impact he had on me as a kid , sonic was the very first game i played but i
M all for change , generations classic sonic was the closest thing to controls , but at the same time whatever physics engine their using needs to be abandoned. |
