Site assessment/drainage survey recommendations??

Hi All
New to Boards & new to the self-build process - so please excuse my lack of knowledge & bear with me

We've been offered a site in North Co. Dublin and have had an initial meeting with Fingal Co Co to see if we'd have any chance of getting planning permission. It looks like we'd meet Local Needs - Family ties.
They've suggested that next we do a site survey for drainage and water treatment, and naturally they don't have a contact list for companies who do this.
Can anyone recommend someone in the local area for this?
What prices should I expect to pay? (I've heard €1000 + vat from a colleague who recently did this - seems like a lot)
Thanks!!

Im a bit surprised that Fingal co co dont have a list of approved assessors. Prices will vary around the country but id think you should get a site assessment/suitability carried out for around €500. Add the cost of a jcb to this.

Mod hat on: Keep recommendations to PMs only please

thanks for that Muffler - noted re PM
I tried Fingal CoCo again but they won't give any names.

If anyone does have any suggestions for the North Co Dublin area, I'd really appreciate it - PM me!
thanks!

I thought most if not all councils had a list. Obviously not. In Donegal for example the local council interviewed people with a view to having them on a list that the public could choose from and ultimately the planning authority would only accept reports from those assessors on the approved list.

The list in Donegal can be got by downloading from the link in this page
