Agriotherium africanum, a prehistoric giant bear, seemingly had the most powerful bite of any carnivoran known, according to a new study- much stronger than any big cat or any bear living today.
Scientists believe that this bear (one of the few African members of the family) was a pure meat-eater, unlike living bears.
It could weigh up to 700 kgs, maybe more, being among the largest kinds of bears.
