My dad got a similar system to that, took a bit of messing around to get it working but it works great, photo prints are even decent and the ink last FOREVER. a typical cartridge has anywhere between 5ml and 13ml or so of ink. Each reservoir on those systems is around 150-200ml

Am I right in thinking here, that with that kit above you just scrap your ink cartridges and bascially run that as an external ink/fuel tanker of sorts, lol?
While there might be an economic argument for it, the practicality of it on the other hand............?

The 3rd party inks for most of these epsons tend to be dirt cheap.
