Flights to US East Coast - Return from US West Coast

Going to the States in September for 3 weeks. I intend to fly to Atlanta and return via LA. Does anyone recommend a good travel agent in Ireland for organising this trip, or is it just best to book everything myself online?
Which airlines are cheapest? Fly via London? Aer Lingus?

Do it yourself . Book it online and that way you can compare prices Fly direct from here you can do imagration on this side saves you the hassle getting to the US and having to queue up plus the flights are long enough without having to travel to the UK to pick up a flight . Price wise all depends on weather Ive flown Delta. I find them competitive.

Kayak.com is good for searching ALL the travel sites tog et a good price.

You can also put in multiple legs of a trip.
