    Hi to All!
We have founded a group of people interested in life foods and especially beverages called 091 Brew Masters

    https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/091_Brew_Masters

Our main targets are to brew high quality and healthy drinks and promote this craft in the Galway region, however inspiring enthusiasts all over the world. We are a sub group of 091 lbs

    http://www.091labs.com

so bringing today's technologies and scientific understanding in to the field is one of our goals.

The current projects which we are starting to work on are due to the season elderflower drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic and the project of experimental incubator. It's prototype will allow us to carry the fermentation properly out in any type of climate.

We plan to have this place as a main discussion venue for our projects, posting our findings and results at the wikies of our group as mentioned above

    https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/091_Brew_Masters

Please do come and check out the projects, become involved, visit us at person at Galway for our promotional events, workshops in other words, join the movement.

As Sandor Katz is saying, "lets bubble!":D:P

    Sincerely for 091 Brew Masters,

    Frantisek Algoldor Apfelbeck

    Hi,
anyone know any good sources of flowering Elderflower in the Galway city area?

Preferably close to salthill (then I can cycle to them).

Hoping that maybe Barna woods has some?

I know about several bushes/trees of Elderflower just next to Pierce Stadium by the walking path called Rockbarton Park between Gurthard Ave and Dr. Mannix Road. They are on the opposite side of the walk to the stadium very close to the Dr. Mannix Road entrance. There are at least three trees there.

When do you plan to brew and what, if I can ask? We have next meeting about group brewing on Wednesday and Thursday, hoping to start as soon as possible.

Seeing as we have some sun today, I will scope out those bushes today. The stadium is close by.

If they are flowering, will brew straight away, but it would be nice to have a proper fermenter to let the elderflower do its work.

Last years brew is maturing nicely, but its early weeks was dominated by the lemons. Will be around wednesday.

I'm looking forward to see you! 64 Glenard Crescent is just at side of the school by the lights and up to the hill (in opposite direction to the sea).

    Sincerely,
