Sitting up or 10 months
Hi, my brothers car has been sitting up for 10months, and it wasn't started at all and now it needs to be jump started, is there anything that we need to do to get it back on the road, its a 307 (05) it was fully serviced before it was left idle, does it need to be serviced again ?

I'd remove the battery and put it on charge overnight....the main problem with jump starting is when you get the car started and your remove the jump leads the alternator may create a voltage spike which can damage the bsi or engine ecu.
As for a service it would be no harm in changeing the oil and filter to be on the safe side....Is it petrol or Diesel...?? |

I don't have a charger but its a petrol, it was my car at one stage and was running perfect. Had just got a timing belt/head/valves done after a snap.

It should be fine. Just check the brakes after you've driven it to make sure the calipers haven siezed and make sure the tyres are ok if they have been let go flat as it wouldn't be good for them.
