Samsung Galaxy S - Blocking Texts

Hi

Can anyone tell me if you can block text messages on the Samsung Galaxy S?
I know that you can add numbers to the Reject list , but this seems to only block calls and not texts

I know it's possible to download app's that block the texts for you, but is it possible to block the texts without doing this ?

Also - is there any of the new phones out there that can do this ?

My last phone was a samsung phone and when I wanted to block a text I just added it to the reject list but cant seem to find another phone I can do this on

Any suggestions ? ....

I know you dont want to change from the stock apps, but if you download the Handcent SMS App, its miles better than the stock app anyway and you can add numbers to a blacklist with it

edit: just thought id mention its actually a fully featured replacement for the stock messaging app

Hey

Thanks for the quick reply !

I did actually download that app before but what was happening was that I was getting 2 messages everytime a message was sent to me .

My messages were appearing in the both the inbox that was on the phone already and then they were coming thru from the Handcent app that I had downloaded

I just wanted 1 inbox and 1 Message application on the phone

Maybe I dd something wrong ??

Go to the default messaging app settings and untick notifications, then just use handcent and forget about the default messaging app.
