AUDI 80 FUEL FILTER

changed my fuel filter topped it up with clean juice starts for about ten seconds then dies.

Theres no priming pump. Its a 95 1.9tdi. When it starts do you let it tick over or do you floor the accelerator??

Dont know what im doing wrong.?? Also have loosened fuel line at injectors to remove air.

Any help would be hugely appreciated im very close to setting it alight!!!!

Don't be going at the injector lines at all, thats bollox! Get yourself a primer and prime it. Prime it from the tank through the filter making sure the exit of the filter is not connected to the pipe going to the pump and when you get a steady flow coming out of the filter reconnect everything and it'll start. sometimes it helps to have the rev's up slightly.

Top one is from the tank, middle one to the engine. The bottom one is just the return you don't need to do anything to that.
