As said above, I think the 1 series looks like a 3 series a truck hit from behind.
Then, I like my cars long.

Sure it's all tastes. I wouldn't buy a white car either.

In terms of looks, i'd put the 1 series well ahead of the E92 but still behind the E30. I'm not a huge fan of white myself, but it tends to suit German cars in general and BMW in particular.

I'd have one, I think they look good. As long as they're kept clean, polished, and don't come in bog standard 16i spec, I think they are a tidy motor. I'd even like a M version of the hatch.

Not sure what price BMW Ireland will bring it in at but this gives them food for thought.

Although over such a long lap the time difference is nothing.
