Hi,

I got 2 copies of Assasin's Creed 2 the other day, fulled wrapped with the clingfilm and all on them, and was wondering if anyone has any idea of what I would get for them in Gamestop or Xtra-Vision.

doesnt matter if there sealed , they gotta open them , youd be luky to get 20 id say

try adverts for selling them

You're better off just bringing it in and checking there, but I would reckon within the region of €25-€30

I've seen it go for €14.99 in GAME so probably not much more than €7.

25 to 30 for a year old game? I'd say you'd probably get 6-7 euro for it.

at least 10 euros i reckon , ac3 is just around the corner so you prob wont get more than that

Zavvi.com were selling it for about €13 a while ago (delivered). I'd go with Zapp's estimate.

This was a brand-new GOTY edition.

Xtra Vision themselves are selling it for €10 pre-owned so I doubt you'll make much at all. If it's the GOTY i'm sure you'll make a bit more but as others have said, best to try adverts.ie

Oh I didn't realise it had been out for so long. Had it been on the Nintendo DS, you'd likely to get the price I had said. You're likely to get about €7 for it.

It's 20 euro preowned in gamestop so you can use it in the 5 euro trade in deal

I was trading in with a bunch of other stuff and was looking to get rid of it so wasn't so bad, but €5 for a year old game is ridiculous.

Always check how much both game and gamestop are giving for games.
I was trading in a copy of NFS carbon last week , its an old enough game, Gamestop offered an apologetic €2 , Game on the other hand offered €8!
best thing is I'd only paid 5 for it in xtravision

That's not true about opening the packaging in all shops. Bring the game to smiths toystore in blanch and they will let you swap for anything up to the value they are currently selling that game for. Got that "we have to open it" crap in gamestop last week with a brand new club penguin for ds. So off i went to blanch smiths and they gave me 33 euro to spend in shop. Do look around lads before succumbing to gamestop/game etc ripping you off. Good luck.
