Pre Event Info - Entrants Please Read

Meeting Point
Liffy Valley Cark - Purple Car Park beside M&S

Time
8:45 - 9:15

Please try to be there as early as possible.

Sponsorship money

We don't want to be carrying the sponsorship money around with us on the trip so if anyone wants to and can, they can give what they have collected to Dr.Vag on Friday.

We will then put up a deadline to get all the remaining sponsorship money in and hopefully it wont be too much hassle to get it in.

If people want to hand it in at the end of the event that can be arranged also.

The Drive
On the drive itself we will be travelling in convoy to try and keep the advertising factor of all the cars in convoy as high as possible. So we'd like everybody to stay with each other as much as possible.

Hopefully we will get to stop at some scenic locations on the way for some photo opportunities.

Conduct on the Road
We'd just like to remind people that its a bank holiday weekend, statistically one of the most dangerous times to drive. We'd like everybody to take into account that we will be covering a huge amount of mileage in the 3 days and to be very aware of road safety.

We want everyone to get back without any tips scratches or bangs or worse.

There will also be a greater Garda and PSNI presence on the roads over the weekend and we dont want anyone getting any fines or penalty points either so just be aware of it and take it easy on the roads.

....I'd just like to say thanks to Quazzie for doing most of the work on this, for communicating with Barretstown, for the route and for many other bits and pieces, Thanks to Dr.Vag for sorting the accommodation and for helping with the organisation of the meets and getting this up and running, thanks to challengemaster for his work on the website, thanks to knifey_spoonie for sorting out the stickers, thanks to donkeystyle for the logo and sticker design, thanks to Web Design Ireland for the website template.....

....And thanks to everyone taking part for making it happen and raising the money for a very worthy charity.

Lets all have a safe enjoyable trip and make this a success.

With regard to giving of the monies, is cash the preferred method?

The custom in my work is to pledge before and give money after completion (I will even be picking up some sponsorship up north on the drive itself)

so im thinking I might give you a cheque for the final pledged amount on the 1st day once I know what that amount is, and recoup the cash myself if thats ok?

That should be fine, don't foresee any problems with that.

Knew I forgot someone....
