http://www.buseireann.ie/news.php?id=697&month=May
Bus Éireann is pleased to announce the commencement of daily services from Sligo and Ballina, direct to Dublin Airport.

The services began on February 1st, operating on a seven day week basis.

The early morning service from Sligo departs Sligo Bus Station at 02.00a.m to arrive at Dublin Airport at 05.25a.m. Returning from Dublin Airport, the bus will depart daily at 9.15p.m to arrive into Sligo Bus station at 12.25a.m. This new airport service will operate on Bus Éireann’s current route 23 serving the local villages of Ballisodare, Collooney, Drumfin, Castlebaldwin and Ballinafad. The towns of Boyle, Carrick-on-Shannon, Longford and Mullingar will also be served.

Departing Ballina, the bus to Dublin Airport will leave Ballina Bus Station daily at 01.30a.m to arrive at Dublin Airport at 04.45a.m. The return bus from Dublin Airport to Ballina will depart at 07.05a.m daily to arrive in Ballina Bus Station at 11.15a.m. The new service will operate on the current Bus Éireann route 22. Passengers should also note that the 07.45a.m service from Ballina to Dublin will now depart at the later time of 09.00a.m. There are also frequent connecting services from Busaras to Dublin Airport from all our bus arrivals from Sligo and Ballina.

“People travelling abroad can now leave their cars at home and not have to worry about car parking or hotel accommodation costs. These services also will also mean that tired passengers returning from long flights will not have to worry about driving home. Passengers instead can now avail of the opportunity to sit back and relax and travel safely home to Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo direct from Dublin Airport,” said a spokesperson for Bus Eireann.

Bus Éireann is advising passengers to please contact our local Travel Centres in either Sligo on 071 9160066 or Ballina at 096 71800 or see www.buseireann.ie for further information.

Just get the normal bus up to Busaras and get the Aircoach out to the airport from the Gresham Hotel at the top of O'Connell St. Its only a 5 min walk over from Busaras and the coach goes every 10 minutes at peak times of the day.

Slightly off topic...so hope this bump isn't too bad!

Does anyone know the rough opening hours for ballina bus station?
Guessing it'll probably not be open for the 1am bus to dublin airport just making sure!
