Romanthony at the Savoy Cork, 17/7/2010

All Night Long Promotions presents for the first time ever in Ireland Legandary producer and dj Romanthony at the Savoy theatre on Saturday17th July 2010.
Infamous on the Cork club scene for “Make this Love Right ( THE BALL AND CHAIN ) Romanthony has over over 20 years of original productions, mixes , remixes, albums and compilations to his credit.
He has recordings on labels such as Azuli, orange , Glasgow Underground , Roule , Brooklyn trax and his own label Black male to name but a few.A more comprehensive view of some of his work is available at Discogs.

Romanthony is also partly responsible for “Hold on”and the worldwide smash hit “One More Time” with Daft Punk providing the vocals and co-producing . As stated by Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo (one half of Daft Punk) “We thought the funkiness of his voice fit the funkiness of the music”The videos for “One more Time”on youtube have generated nearly 20 million views alone.

Word is that the artist “Prince”heard Romanthonys album and muttered “Why am I not doing this?”

“Discocaine”his latest album was released in April and the single “B 2 NITE “ are both available on Beatport and Traksource. Released on “Launch records” which is a sub of the uber cool house label “Strictly Rhythm”.

Its amazing Romanthony has never played in Cork before and he is very excited
