Back in the early to mid 1970s I recall seeing local TV in Tallaght. The shows were recorded (or live?) at the Tallaght Community School.

I"ve searched online but have found no information on this. I'd be very curious to see if any of the recordings survived. Was this broadcast or was it made available through the old RTE Relays cable network ?

Remember (early-mid 1980's) hearing about a community "station" (on cable) in Ballyfermot as well.

Not to be confused with the occasional pirate TV station or RTE regional TV experiment
