Traffic Gridlock in Lucan village!!

I was down in Lucan village this morning, traffic seemed slow but i put it down to the icy roads. Walking on i soon realised the reason for the traffic getting progressively backed up through the village. One of the resident swans, usually seen down by the weir or on the griffeen in the village was going for a stroll through the village and using the main street as it's footpath. It was quite a sight and fair play to all the motorists who were respectful and didn't try overtake or scare the bird. Here's a couple of pics from my phone.

Ha ha, at least there was a good reason for the backlog! A little more exciting than a broken traffic light
