Advice on friction burn on knee of trousers

I slipped going up a wet stairs at the weekend and this caused a friction burn on the right knee of a pair of suit pants (88% polyester, 12% viscose). There is now a shiny patch on the knee about the size of a stamp. Is there any way to make it less obvious?

for some reason that old trick for carpets about melting an ice cube into it and then dry brushing the area is coming to m ind, but i doubt that'd do much... could try it though.
