I read in Liam Horans column on the back of the sports section that Bertie Ahern and Eamon Dunphy in guest slots might be presenting the Sunday game next year. I persume he was joking.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

At least you footballers can relate to what he asks, given his footballing background. But the man just hasn't a clue regarding the hurling. It's like he's reading off a script written by a transition year working in RTE on work experience.

That's what you get when you have one thousand monkeys working at one thousand typewriters.

As a football man myself I have to agree Pat Spillane should not be presenting and adding comment on hurling when he has no background in it. If the shoe was on the other foot I would be well pissed off if someone like Cyril Farrell was presenting the football and giving me his opinion on something he knows nothing about. There should be two separate presenters for hurling and football IMO
