Hi

My maternity leave is due to start in 3 weeks, I got a letter to confirm that my application had been received but have heard nothing since. Does anyone know how long it takes to find out what decision has been made?

Hi

My maternity is well over, started over a year ago. At that time they were waaaay behind on the applications but I got my payment into my bank account the first week. The letter confirming my payment amounts and dates etc arrived after that.

Ring them if you are concerned but I would expect that you will get your payment when your maternity leave begins. I can't imagine that they have caught up on the backlog, these Govt. Depts never do!!
