diesel decat and the NCT

Just wondering if anyone could shed light on this . Im looking at a diesel car from up North. The owner says that the car has been decatted but passes the MOT without problem - ive see the MOT certs. Will it likely fail the NCT on emissions ?

Emmissions on a Diesel down south are done on the opacity of the smoke-

Basically how black it is.

Decatting should make no difference what so ever
