Movie Posters mounting

I just bought a bunch of movie posters online which arrived faster than I thought they would (less than a week from Canada!) and have nothing to mount them with.

These are really nice high quality original posters so want to either mount them with hangers or frames (depending on price).

The original guideline delivery time was 4-6 weeks so hadn't expected to need the hangers so soon.
The posters are beautiful (imho) and am dying to hang them only without using bluetac or pins.

Does anyone know somewhere i could pop into tomorrow in Dublin or Wicklow that has reasonably priced hangers or frames for pictures and posters?

I got a good few - Goodfellas, Godfather, Elektra (yeah...you know why..), Star Trek Generations, Clockwork Orange, Grumpy Old Men, Schlindlers List..and this one which is totally utterly fantastic!, has a real presence about it.

I've a long list for next payday..but that's a month away

Upper Liffey street beside Hecter Greys theres a shop that just sells frames. Measure the poster or bring it in and he will measure it for you. I got a few standard movie poster sized black rimed glass frames in there, about 20-25 euro each.

That's not bad pricing for framing at all - was that full 27" x 40" movie poster size? Also do you know if they do poster hangers as well (I can't afford to get them all framed right now)?

Thanks.

Not sure what a poster hanger is ? The whole shop just sells posters, frames and frame related things so Id say theres a good chance they would sell them too.

A cheaper alternative is to get the poster mounted.

How do you have room to hang all these posters up?

I rent a two bed house and there's only me here so plenty of poster hanging room!

I went into that place Tusky mentioned today and unfortunately they dont seem to do full movie poster size (27" X 40") unless its a custom job and thats just too expensive considering I've now got about 10 posters I'd like to frame (currently using hangers which, while better than blue tac, isn't optimal).

Looks like its going to be cheaper to buy from an online store and pay massive shipping fees and yet will still cost about 50% less than getting them here

Surely there's an Irish business that will do them for less than a kings ransom ? - I'm willing to pay up to about €45 per frame (if really good quality - can get them for far less from American sellers online but would rather spend my money on an Irish business) and am looking for 12 now with potentially many more to come.

What online site you using Longfield? I got a price on a custom frame for an 16"x16" picture I got signed by John Landis (she's my new pride and joy) for the place beside Hector Grays but the price was well above my budget.
